Our Favorite Gastropubs for a Romantic Third Date in Chelsea

1. eCusi (383 West 16th St)

Storied northern Italian trattoria with exposed wooden ceiling beams and thoughtful service. Very romantic, and has wifi throughout.

2. Wien (27 10th Ave)

Viennese stalwart with a mahogany bar and extensive menu, perfect for a romantic third date. Don’t miss the sächertorte, the fresh-baked apfelstrudel, or the free wifi.

3. Les Petit Pois (402 West 21st St)

Neighborhood Parisian bistro that evokes the romance of the Quartier Latin. Savor oysters at happy hour and enjoy outdoor cafe seating perfect for a romantic summer evening. Best of all, they now have high-speed internet, available to all patrons.

4. Iberia (361 West 18th St)

Old-line Spanish spot that’s been serving traditional Andalusian tapas since the moon landings. Sip Spanish wine with your soon-to-be significant other while the guitar trio strums by the bar. There might not be wifi at this traditional tapas house, but fear not: Iberia pioneered the farm-to-cable movement and proudly offers ethernet at every table. This is Spanish elegance at its best.

5. Apple Store (401 West 14th St)

Stop the presses! This is the literal definition of a romantic third date spot. Cozy up to the Genius Bar and order yourselves a couple years of AppleCare while you wait for your new iPhone screen. Technical help is served tapas-style here as well, which is just about as romantic as it gets, aside from the unbelievably good wifi. Reservations recommended.
